Peckham Platform is delighted to be teaming up with Artquest to host a series of PEER FORUM sessions in 2016.

PEER FORUM aims to assist artists by providing them with the funding, space and resources necessary to establish their own peer mentoring groups while offering valuable contact with some of London’s most respected art spaces.

Artquest and Peckham Platform are seeking applications from individual artists to take the lead in coordinating these peer mentoring groups.

A space provided by Peckham Platform for the peer mentoring sessions to take place, including basic refreshments and presentation equipment.

Peckham Platform is a creative and educational charity based in a gallery on Peckham Square, SE15. It became independent at the start of 2014 and was awarded Arts Council national portfolio funding six months later. As an organisation we believe that communities can inform and shape their engagement with their locality by working with contemporary visual artists. Our programme of commissions creates meaningful and accessible social arts practice for Peckham and beyond, providing an expansive platform for different voices and debate, bringing contemporary social practice alive.

As a venue for Artquest’s PEER FORUM Peckham Platform hopes to provide a space for practitioners to engage with these aims and therefore particularly welcomes applications with an interest in social arts practice or whose practice engages with localities and communities.

Sessions need to be held in the gallery space on Tuesdays for 3 hours between 10am and 5pm. Peckham Platform can provide tables and chairs, access to projectors and Wi Fi, and refreshments for participants.
