Peckham Platform Awarded Culture Recovery Fund Grant
We are delighted to announce that Peckham Platform has been awarded £89,027 as part of the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund (CRF) to help the organisation look ahead to the summer and plan for reopening.
More than £300 million has been awarded to thousands of cultural organisations across the country in the latest round of support from the Culture Recovery Fund.
The Culture Recovery Fund grant which was announced at the beginning of April will support the artistic programme so that we can continue co-create meaningful social art with our community and creative partners as we look forward to public presentations in Peckham Square and beyond.
Upcoming projects for Peckham Platform in 2021 include: Tilting the Mirror, an intergenerational placemaking project co-led by community partners and Resolve, an interdisciplinary design collective, and Digital Tapestry, with Meera Shakti Osborne, producer A.G. and a new public realm artwork based on Peckham High Street with designer Azarra Amoy.
Peckham Platform is among 2,700 recipients to benefit from the latest round of awards from the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund. Over £800 million in grants and loans was previously awarded to support cultural organisations, performance venues, and museums with the immediate challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.
