Peckham Platform is a creative and educational charity located in a public gallery on Peckham Square, SE15. Our programme of commissions creates meaningful and accessible contemporary art projects for Peckham and beyond, providing an expansive platform for different voices and debate.

At Peckham Platform we see no value in art without people. We can only be successful when the community is broadly, intimately and genuinely engaged in our practice and this extends to engaging with us as in-kind supporters.

Our team of volunteers assists in gallery invigilation, our daily learning activities, exhibition installation, marketing and audience research, during the week and at weekends.

If you are looking for experience in an arts organisation and are passionate about engaging local communities with arts practice, then this opportunity is perfect for you. Gallery experience and artistic training are not required; we welcome people with an interest in the arts, good communication skills, an enthusiasm to work with children and great team spirit.

To find out more about this exciting opportunity to join the Peckham Platform team as a Gallery Volunteer, please download the Volunteer Role Description below.

If you like the sound of the Role Description and want volunteer with us, then please email info@peckhamplatform.com briefly outlining why you are interested, any relevant experience you may have, and what you feel you could bring to the team.

Thank you for your interest in Peckham Platform, we look forward to hearing from you soon.
