Learning Activities

Throughout all of our exhibitions Peckham Platform aims to provide an exciting range of activities and workshops for people of all ages to learn, participate and engage with our programme. These have become a much-loved resource for our community. These activities aim to keep you occupied for as little or as long as you like, no booking is required and they are free of charge. Join us during our usual opening hours to take part.

Current learning Activity:

Play Peckham 22nd March 2017 – 2nd April 2017

Inspired by Playback in association with random acts Tour, we have a mini-studio set up for you to make your very own 0-8 frame stop-motion animations. Throughout the two-week exhibition visitors will be able to create their own characters, devise a storyboard and shoot a stop-motion animation that will be uploaded onto our learning blog.

The backdrop for this learning activity will include iconic buildings of Peckham including Peckham Library and Peckham Rye Station, providing stimulation for Peckham based scenes to be imagined, directed and produced.

These drop-in learning activities are designed for all ages and abilities, no booking is required and they are free of charge. For more information or to arrange a group or school visit please contact info@peckhamplatform.com

We welcome everybody but ask that a parent or guardian accompany children under the age of 11.
