Trainee Producer

Join our team as a Trainee Producer and help shape a powerful community-led exploration of migration, memory and heritage.

This unique opportunity places you at the heart of Memories for the Future—a creative, intergenerational project co-designed with local people to preserve and celebrate the untold stories of Peckham’s past. You’ll support the delivery of oral histories, public events and artist commissions that honour postcolonial migration experiences and explore the rich cultural identities that define Rye Lane today. This is a paid role at London Living Wage, 16 hours per week, fixed term (6-month contract)—ideal for someone early in their career with a passion for culture, heritage and civic engagement, and a desire to gain experience in socially-engaged creative production.

‘My six months have given me the chance to explore new avenues of work that I haven’t had access to before. Through these tasters, I’ve been able to learn more about what I enjoy doing… Not only have I learnt a lot about what it means to co-design programme with the community, but I also feel more informed and connected to my surroundings. Gaining insight into networking in the arts in a way that felt far from transactional…I’ve loved working with the team here. I have felt valued and seen from day one, they are all attentive listeners who are eager and willing to put the hard work in to constantly improve our working environment.’
