A.G.

Artists

A.G is a DJ, producer and presenter from east London. Her work takes inspiration from American underground club music in Baltimore and New Jersey to Bollywood soundtracks.

She hosts monthly radio shows on NTS & Rinse FM and is a key figure in the Grime scene. Tracks like her reimagining of A R Rahman’s “Kehma Hi Kya” showcase her melting pot musical style, with airplay on Rinse FM and BBC Asian Network. Catch A.G at parties like Magic Clit or her own G-Style, and you’ll hear her multifaceted and open-ended approach to DJing. She is determined to play everything from spooked-out, skeletal club music to barely classifiable two-stepping records and takes the technical side of DJing very seriously.

In 2021 Peckham Platform commissioned A.G. to work with artist Meera Shakti Osborne on a project with our Youth Platform. Digital Tapestry is a collaborative artwork made through zoom workshops with sound and digital art used to explore themes surrounding activism, healing and self-expression.
