Digital Tapestry

October - December 2020

This video artwork was developed by young people working with video artist Eva Grace Bor. It is the result of a Peckham Platform programme that invited artist Meera Shakti Osborne and producer A.G. to run workshop sessions with our Youth Platform group.

A print of a black and white photogram. The image is deliberately designed to be ambiguous, white dots and lines are imprinted on three rough lines that are placed closely together in the loose shape of a square. The more you stare at the image the more patterns and images you see in it. You can see the vague outlines of what looks like the magnified palm of a person’s hand.

Yuh Figet Yuhself

November 2019 - April 2020

The project takes its title from a conversation that Bennett had with an older friend. Speaking out of tone, the artist was met with the reply “Yuh Figet Yuhself!”. The statement was made in jest but served as a reminder that she had literally and figuratively forgotten herself.

Working with the Peckham Platform Learning team and in collaboration with Barbara Majek, participants in this project will meet via Zoom to develop new skills, create collaborative work and receive support for individual development. 

Waum Fi Dem?

October 2021 - June 2022

This project celebrates the distinct dialogues of a multi-generational group of participants and mediums of ‘insistent archiving’ that preserve the wealth and variance of these narratives.
